How It Works
📤 Upload Process
When you upload a file:
- Your file is securely processed and assigned a unique file code (generated from the file's hash)
- A random 6-digit PIN is generated for additional security
- Your file is stored temporarily in memory for fast access
- Maximum file size: 100MB
🔒 Security Features
- One-time access: Files are automatically deleted from memory after being downloaded once
- PIN protection: Both file code and PIN are required to access files
- Secure hashing: File codes are generated using SHA-256 cryptographic hashing
- No database: Files are stored in memory only (for serving) and on disk (for reference)
🔐 Privacy & Data Protection
We respect your privacy:
- No tracking: We do not track your browsing behavior or collect personal information
- No cookies: We don't use cookies or tracking technologies
- No logs: We keep no logs of your activity or file contents
- Automatic cleanup: Files are removed from memory after download or after 24 hours
- Secure sharing: Only people with both the file code and PIN can access your files
💡 Tips
- Save your file code and PIN immediately after upload - you won't be able to retrieve them later
- Share both codes securely with the intended recipient
- Files can only be downloaded once - make sure the recipient is ready to download
- Files larger than 100MB cannot be uploaded
